Wet and rainy = bored toddler. Thank goodness for pumpkins and sharp knives (er, in a good way.) Also for daycare staff who take on the holiday party responsibilities for you. The trick was to get Daphne to the party without her having a meltdown and removing the princess/ fairy/ boozy rocker garb.
